German Cut Clarinet

The German Cut clarinet reeds are intended to be used with German-type mouthpieces. They were designed in collaboration with a group of German musicians who tested different models until obtaining the desired one.
They are made on a 3.4 mm segment. ground to 3.0 mm. This leaves the scraping in the most vibrant area of the reed and results in a brilliant sound. Their shallow shoulders draw a tighter crescent. This helps maintain tuning despite being an extremely flexible and spontaneous reed.
