Fabrizio Alessandrini

“I highly recommend the use of these reeds to all clarinet players, from beginners to established concert players. Perfectly seasoned wood, extreme versatility in all registers, incredibly full sound and rich in harmonics, exceptional duration (an aspect of no small importance), exceptional response in the staccato. Finally, these reeds vibrate a lot and adapt very easily to the needs of the artist”.

Fabrizio Alessandrini was born in Bergamo, Italy, in 1990.

He graduated with honors in Clarinet Performance from the Conservatory of Music Luca Marenzio, in Brescia (Italy) and he got a Music Master in Clarinet Performance at Lugano’s Conservatory (Swiss university system) in 2015, under the guidance of professor Milan Rericha.

He got many music awards:  first prize at the “Enrico Arisi” National Music Competition (Cremona, Italy, 2002), third prize at the “Giuseppe Tassis” International Clarinet Competition (Bergamo, 2006), third prize at the “Asti” International Music Competition (Italy, 2011), first prize at the “Grand Prize Virtuoso” International Music Competition (Salzburg, Austria, 2016).

In 2008 he won the audition for the Central European Initiative (CEI) Youth Orchestra. He collaborated with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Italy, with the Haydn Foundation Orchestra (Bolzano, Italy), with the i Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra (Milan, Italy), where he made the first Italian performance of “Explosante-fixe” by Pierre Boulez, for the anniversary of his eighty-fifth birthday.
